ABOUT BALE BREAKER: Bale Breaker Brewing Company is a craft brewery literally rooted in the hop fields of Washington’s Yakima Valley. Founded in 2013 by the fourth-generation hop farming family of Loftus Ranches, we’re the only brewery in the U.S. that grows all of our own hops — right outside our taproom door. We’re proud to be one of Washington’s largest independent craft breweries, and we take as much care in how we work as we do in what we brew.
POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking Seasonal Packaging Technician to join our production team for the spring and summer season at our Yakima brewery. This full-time, hourly position will start in April with employment into October 2026. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation — you’ll help package and prepare our beers for distribution so they reach customers at their very best.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate and monitor canning and kegging lines
- Perform quality checks throughout the packaging process to ensure quality and consistency
- Clean and sanitize packaging equipment following established SOPs
- Label, palletize, and record finished product
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with the production and cellar teams
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Reliability, attention to detail, good attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production setting is a plus — but not required
- Must be 21 or older
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS (benefits available after 60-90 day intro period)
- Full-time hourly position at $17.13-$18/hour (DOE)
