Date: September 30, 2022
Time: 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Yakima
Before the out-of-towners descend on the valley for Fresh Hop Ale Fest, we’re throwing a locals-only celebration on Friday, September 30. Fine, feel free to invite your cousin from out of town, but this one is mainly for the folks that spent all of September working their tails off to sit back and enjoy a cold one. This is the time of year to enjoy the fruits of that backbreaking labor – the hop fields are bare, the roads are quiet, and the fresh hops are flowing. Farmworkers have spent the last month working (literally) sun up to sun down to harvest the hops that brewers around the world will use for the year – not a job for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. The hard work is done and that’s cause for some appreciation and a big ol’ celebration!
We’ll have fresh hop beers, the return of La Mas Buena (our mexican lager inspired cerveza), an outdoor pour station with micheladas, food from Nano’s Tacos, and a live performance from Alvaro Valencia Y Su Elegancia Norteña (the same band who had us all dancing at the Mango IPA party). We hope to see you all here!
