We’re thrilled to announce that 2023’s new kids on the block, Daybreak Pale Ale and Skyward IPA, both won medals at this year’s Washington Beer Awards. We never release a new beer lightly – these beers are tested over and over again by our brewing team, our production team, our quality team, and the rest of the gang to make sure they’re not just up to the Bale Breaker standard you know and love, but are also pushing our beer lineup forward. But you never do know how they’re going to go over – so for both of these new releases to win awards at this year’s WA Beer Awards felt like a lovely confirmation that we did something right. Daybreak & skyward win big
Gold – West Coast IPA
SKYWARD IPA
Our newest year-round India Pale Ale, Skyward IPA, took home the gold in WA Beer Award’s West Coast IPA category. Brewed with a simple malt bill, Skyward showcases big hop aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, and classic West Coast dankness.
Bronze – American style pale ale

Our newest year-round Pale Ale, Daybreak, took home the bronze in WA Beer Award’s American Style Pale Ale category. Crisp with complex aromas of grapefruit, apricot, and pine resin and hints of mango, blueberry, and melon.
