Riffle Runner Salmon-Safe Hazy Pale Ale

Brewed for Earth Day 2023, this salmon-safe hazy pale is named for the part of the river where shallow water flows quickly past rocks. Female salmon lay their eggs, or roe, in these sections of stream with gravel bottoms, using their tails to create little nests. Riffles are also ecologically important areas with nooks for aquatic insects, surfaces for algal growth, and places for fish to rest. Brewed using salmon-safe hops from our neighbors at Roy Farms and salmon-safe Genie Pale, Genie Pilsner, and Elwa River Spelt malt from LINC Malting in Spokane.
